Description

120V AC Output Module, 16 Outputs：

I/O adapter modules for 1771 I/O are available for ControlNet, Universal Remote I/O, and Extended Local I/O links.

The 1771-ASB is compatible with an I/O link with 32 I/O-adapter devices and either 82W or 150W termination

Pre-installation Considerations：

The 1771-0AD Series C module is compatible with all chassisexcept 1771-A1, 1771-A2 and 1771-A4 chassis. Make sure no otheroutput module or single card block transfer module is placed in thesame module group when using 2-slot addressing. Any discrete inputmodule may be used within the same module group.

Using the 1771-0AD Series C Module with Half-wave RectifyingLoad Devices (single diode) and Indicator Lights.

This module uses zero-crossing technology to allow turn-on whenthe output voltage is less than a specified voltage (typically 40 to50V). This greatly reduces the stress on contacts and other devicesthat are sensitive to current surges.

• When using this output module with a device that includes asingle diode in series with the load, place a shunt resistor (39Kohm, lW) across the load, This resistor allows proper outputoperation.
• The shunt resistor may cause LED indicators to glow when theoutput is turned off, In this case, use an incandescent lamp inplace of the LED.
• When using a full-wave rectified device, the device may not turnoff when the output is deenergized. Add a 2.5K ohm, 10Wresistor in parallel with the device to provide proper operation.
• If 24V ac incandescent indicator lights appear dim when usedwith the Series C module, place a 2.5K ohm, 10W resistor inparallel with the indicator, This will restore full brightness.
